Terra Pura is a family-owned plaster company led by Jon and Lauren Mecham, built around a deep appreciation for natural materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. Our name, meaning “Pure Earth,” reflects the foundation of our work—the belief that every surface should feel intentional, authentic, and beautifully connected to the space around it.

With more than 30 years in the plaster industry, Jon brings extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to every project. He is trained and certified in a wide range of specialty plaster systems and has become a trusted applicator of some of the most respected natural, architectural, and performance finishes in the industry.

Terra Pura’s expertise includes BASWA Acoustic Plaster, Clayworks Natural Plasters, Venetian Plaster, American Clay, and TerraCrete Cement, along with extensive experience working with a broad range of additional plaster systems, manufacturers, textures, and custom finishes. Whether a project calls for a highly specialized system or a completely custom surface, our team has the knowledge and craftsmanship to bring the vision to life.

Together with our skilled crew, Terra Pura creates one-of-a-kind finishes for luxury residential and commercial spaces. Based in Driggs, Idaho, we proudly serve Teton Valley, Jackson Hole, and the surrounding Mountain West, while continuing to collaborate with architects, designers, builders, and homeowners on projects throughout the country.
